Media Headquarters is pleased to announce it’s original hit format Canada’s Smartest Person has been nominated for a 2015 Rockie Award in the category Interactive Non-Fiction.

Canada’s Smartest Person was Canada’s number one new series of the 2014 Fall television season. The series features an interactive component that allows viewers to play along on mobile and tablet devices. The CSP app is one of the most popular interactive experiences ever produced in Canada, with over 180,000 downloads and one million intelligence tests completed.

The Rockie Awards, held each year as part of the Banff World Media Festival is the largest program competition of its kind, with industry members from over 40 countries participating in this prestigious awards program. The Rockie Awards celebrates content across 26 categories in drama, documentary, kids, and digital. Nominees are chosen by over 350 international entertainment and media industry professionals.

Winners will be announced during the Banff World Media Festival taking place June 7 – 10 in Banff, Alberta.
